MATsynCELL and C3

MATsynCELL concerns a Swedish-German collaboration within the Röntgen-Ångström Cluster (RÅC) supported by the Swedish Research Council and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The aim of the MATsynCELL project is to investigate the formation of various types of porous materials and their interactions with guest molecules under reaction conditions by diffraction and spectroscopy techniques, using synchrotron sources, and taking advantage of its high brilliance and tunable energy.

The Consortium for Crystal Chemistry (C3) aims to create a research environment for Crystal Chemistry in an alliance between Uppsala University, Stockholm University and PETRA III. The goal is to perform cutting edge crystal chemistry science for dynamic systems in technical relevant materials as well as for complex crystal structures for a number of different materials with the use of synchrotron radiation or neutron scattering.
